What happened in this disgusting video is a direct result of the peoples right to bear arms being infringed upon.
What people seem to not understand anymore - when in the past it was but common knowledge (I wonder why - the purposeful dumbing down of the American sheeple is another post, for another day) - is that the main purpose for the second amendment was to protect the people against tyrannical governments, i.e. the video above.
Texas has the lowest crime rate in the country why? Because their the second amendment is protected and respected (though the supreme court is in the process of changing that). Not only people have a right to bear arms most people have a conceal and carry. Switzerland has the 4th lowest crime rate in the world because like Texas you can own guns, the only difference is there, you can have explosives as well. Matter of fact it is legally required for you to have C4 and automatic weapons in your home. Most people respect and obey the law, if it is illegal to carry a gun then only criminals will have them and the average person becomes victims. People are not the enemy, criminals are. Guns don't kill people, people do.

Malcom had it right; If you are not willing to fight for it you don't deserve it. Guess what would have happened if those spineless cowards came upto his door making threats like that.

I think what the cops were doing in the video was totally wrong and they should be disciplined for it.
The quote in the founding fathers article "To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them" is very disturbing and I hate it.
I believe that people should be able to bears arms to protect themselves from dangerous criminals. The right to own firearms will make criminals think twice before they try to break into someone's house or attack someone. If some of the same people pro gun control were to be attacked and were helpless I know they would wish they had a gun.
The only thing is parents should not let their children know they own a firearm because children tend to talk a lot, also they can find it and end up harming themselves or someone else.
